 Growing up, my kitchen table wasn't just for meals - it was a workspace for the future. My father was a civil engineer, and some of my earliest memories are of him unrolling massive, intricate blueprint drawings across that table. As a kid, I was fascinated by the sheer scale of the projects, but it was my father’s words that stayed with me the most.

He would trace those lines with disciplined precision and tell me: "Son, you have to get the blueprint right before the construction begins. If the architecture is flawed, the building will always struggle against itself."

I learned then that the most successful projects aren't the ones that rush to break ground; they are the ones that invest in the accuracy of the map.

I carried that fascination into my 25-year career in multifamily operations. I’ve managed portfolios for institutional giants and helped scale mid-market firms, and I’ve seen the same "engineering" truth play out in business.
